My beloved riverheart, who blogs on Daily Kos as Kitsap River, is on the front page of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in connection with an article on this year's Netroots Nation conference.

I am so very proud of her, and so very thankful to her fellow healthcare bloggers whose generous support made her attendance possible.

FANTASTIC!!! River, would that donor's kidney be compatible w/yours and if so, when might this happen??

As I understand it, the potential donor (whom riverheart met FTF for the first time yesterday) agreed to be tested for compatibility, and if enough factors matched would be her donor. I don't think that the test itself has happened yet, or riverheart would have told me about it.
