If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want, either good or bad. I promise not to come after you with a spatula, either way.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

You, [livejournal.com profile] riverheart, and a bottle of Moet&Chandon that I'd bought having no idea of what was about to happen.

A cat getting stuck in a big tree outside your house - I read that entry in [profile] riverheart's journal, so I think about a house in the woods :)

Heh. Suuuuure.

You, standing in the kitchen of Paradux Hill, cooking for me for the first time. You made ginger chicken stir-fry, and when you got the seasoning *just* right and tasted it, you threw back your head and roared "Oh YEAH!"

Am I allowed to share two memories?

I remember when I was a brand new member at SPCC, you and River gave me a tour and patiently answered my many questions.

I also remember (very fondly) an EC themed Leather & Lace, at which I wore motorcycle leathers -- chaps and a halter top. You complimented my outfit by pantomiming picking your tongue up off the floor, and I was very touched by that.

The first time I met you: the room filk at the end of OryCon, and the "people pile" afterward. Your flair with percussion. Mmmm, memory.

Many good memories, but most of all your gift of Stealing Jesus: how fundamentalism betrays Christianity which expanded my mind and took the fascist little fundy you first met and turned her into something much more liberal and loving.

DragonFlight, around, oh, 1998 or 1999. I played in one of your "Children of an Elder God" scenarios, then came back (the next night, probably) for the Vampire scenario, and after the game, we chatted until the wee hours. I still remember your complimenting me on my roleplaying, especially the way I had played the character in the Vampire scenario that you had played at the convention that won you the right to run that scenario elsewhere.
