I've seen the light
Apr. 1st, 2004 10:45 amAfter long and sober reflection, I've decided that the Right Wing is, indeed, right.
It's high time we stopped focusing on outmoded ideas of what "freedom" is, and started supporting the President and his policies. The idea that we need to be able to speak and publish freely is outdated. There's a lot of dangerous information out there, and it really should be suppressed for the good of not only this country, but the world.
The administration's tax cut program has had a positive effect on this country, enhancing wealth where it is most appropriate. Moreover, as has been pointed out several times by high-ranking administration officials, offshoring jobs will, in the long run, lead to greater job growth in the U.S.
And why should we balk at things like having police officers be able to walk into our homes without a warrant and conduct a search? After all, the only person who can reasonably object is one who has something to hide.
Therefore, I'm voting the straight Republican ticket henceforth, and I urge every one of my friends and family members to do the same.
APRIL FOOL!
