To you,
riverheart
Nov. 28th, 2003 09:21 pmIt was the year of fire... the year of destruction... the year we took back what was ours. It was the year of rebirth... the year of great sadness... the year of pain... and the year of joy. It was a new age. It was the end of history. It was the year everything changed. The year is 2261. The place: Babylon 5.
The year is 2003, and the place is Paradux Hill. Other than that, just about everything from the Babylon 5 fourth season intro came true this past year.
I rediscovered the fire of passion in my soul, and shared the fire in yours. I experienced the destruction of a once-loving partnership, the great sadness of shattered dreams and broken promises. Thanks to you, my heart, this year I reclaimed my self the one thing that is truly mine. I am indeed reborn in the love we share.
There was pain, and there was and is great joy every day.
This is my new age, the end of my old history of pain and self-loathing and worthlessness.
Everything has changed, my beloved, thanks to you and your love.
"The year was 2003. The place was Paradux Hill." And it was but the first of many, many more wonderful years to come.
Happy Anniversary.

2003 - and your love - rebuilt me, and gave me new reason to dream.
I love you.

Don't spoil yourself unless you want to, of course but do read the commentaries on episodes you've already seen. They were gleaned from Usenet and elsewhere, often literally within hours of the episodes having been sent via satellite to the affiliates (and to those of us fortunate to have Big Backyard Dishes!), and always include JMS's own responses to the questions raised thereat.
