Not harsh enough
Feb. 22nd, 2004 06:30 pmAlthough the judge in this article is being cited as a hero on Fark, I think the punishment is far too lenient. (For those of you without a strong stomach, suffice it to say that a judge sentenced a 24-year-old woman to 60 years behind bars 30 of them without possibility of parole for severely injuring her two-year-old son.)
I firmly believe that the woman should be forced to undergo the same horrors she inflicted on her baby, ever single day of her sickening life. Moreover, that she should receive these tender mercies from the one person in the universe that she trusts wholeheartedly and unreservedly, from whom she depends on everything in her life.
"'Mother' is the word for 'God' on the lips of every child."
The Crow
Oh, can you tell I'm a parent?
