No, not quite. But I'll be at alt.polycon 9 this weekend, and pretty much completely out of touch with folk. I hope to beg, borrow, or steal some online time-- which I'll use for checking but not necessarily answering email, and some mandatory web tasks (applying for the weekly unemployment check). But if y'all are looking for me by phone or chat or most likely email, I'll be back home Monday night.

Yeah, it'll probably be traumatic. I'll let y'all know how much, when I get back.

it has occurred to me that i have no idea how i will find people once i get to the hotel on sunday--but we are planning on getting there around 1:00 pm--post decadent brunch, we hope.

you sort of know what i look like, anyway, from my userpic--so if you see a woman who looks kinda familiar who wasn't at anything else the whole weekend, come over and see if it's me!

my advice, not that you asked--flirt up a storm, get back into the flow of things, and try to act as though you felt the way that you hope you will feel a year from now. i recommend this based on WAAAAAY too much personal experience--it may not help that much, but it has never made things worse for me. see you sunday, i hope!
