Thankful Thursday

I haven't done one of these before, so rather than just cover the past week, I'll talk about the whole year.

1. riverheart first, last, and always. You have brought infinite joy into my life— indeed, I owe you my life, given my state of mind at the end of 2002. I love you.
2. elfs and omahas for shelter from a most unexpected source.
3. technoshaman and jenkitty for Being There, 00:01 on 01/01. Although it didn't work out the way we originally intended, I'm still grateful for your acceptance, your friendship, and your support.
4. Concerts, concerts, concerts. I saw more live music this year than in the preceding decade— heck, two decades.
5. South Seattle Community College, for helping me see that I have a brain that can still learn and grow. (See this post for more details.)
6. Howard Dean, whose campaign gives me hope that We the People can indeed take back our country from BushCo. Go Howard!
7. Laughter and tears, joy and sorrow, and the whole gamut of emotions between. For remembering this year that I can feel, that I need not "have the aura of a kicked dog", as riverheart once described me.
8. For letting go when it's needful, and hanging on when it's necessary.
9. For an anklet and a bracelet.
10. And finally (woo-woo alert!) to the myriad unseen ones: the spirits and guardians of Paradux Hill, the Lord and Lady who we at times have been privileged to channel, and especially to That Which Is.
