After spending Monday night, all of Tuesday and Wednesday, and much of Thursday in hospital, my beloved [livejournal.com profile] riverheart came home on Thanksgiving night. The medical staff still don't know what was wrong, but we suspect a combination of electrolyte imbalance combined with an unexpected drug reaction/interaction.

Friday was mostly a quiet day at home, except that her mom and mom's partner cut short their East Coast visit to fly out and make sure all was well. Saturday we played D&D at our regular semi-monthly session (she GM'ed, I played my current character), and Sunday was another quiet day.

I want to thank, most sincerely, all of you who sent healing energy via my previous post. I also put up a diary at DailyKos which garnered many expressions of concern and hope for [livejournal.com profile] riverheart's well-being.

Thank you.

I really wish the universe would pull it's head out, and only challenge you two in ways that are happy growth experiences.

Say, how about you two meeting me on this side of the Sound some afternoon/evening for some socializing. Alas, I will be very time flexible again come the 19th.

Sounds like a plan to me!

I can't speak for both of us, but I know I'd enjoy that, and I suspect Charles would too.

Very glad that she's OK

Although it is frustrating to not know what actually caused the problem, it is very good to see that she is better now. The time spent while not knowing what's going on, and not seeing an end in sight can be so completely defeating.

Thank you for sharing updates. I am glad you are having those quiet days...more specifically, those quiet days *at home*!

Continued good thoughts toward you both.

I am soooo happy that River back home.

It has to be frustrating that with the best of 21 century technology they can not figure exactly what is what. Which leaves you out to do your own research, come to the best possible conclusion and develop your own protocol for avoiding the trigger of another similar episode.

Be well,
